Rules of Bucklebury Equestrian Cross Country & Show Jump use

  • All riders must have appropriate current public liability insurance.
  • All riders must wear a hard hat to the current approved standard when mounted and a body protector to be worn on the cross-country course.
  • Riders should be accompanied either mounted or on foot, and we insist on someone carrying a mobile phone in case of emergency.
  • Children should be closely supervised and dogs must be kept on a lead.
  • Consideration must be given at all times to other horses & riders.
  • Riders must use the XC course/Show jumps in a sensible manner compatible with their level of experience. Show jumps must be put back how they have been found.
  • Riders agree that they must cover the cost of repair or replacement should they, or their horse cause damage to any of the fences. Any damage must be reported as soon as possible.
These rules are in the interest of your own safety. By making a booking you are agreeing to the terms set out in this disclaimer, and you are agreeing to abide by these rules.

An adult must sign for any rider under 18 years old and remains completely responsible for their safety and actions at all times

Start lists together with your times for this weekends Eventers Challenge are available from the button below.

We have done our best to comply with any individual requests. Any queries, please email: buckleburyevents@outlook.com.

Times are approximate, though we do wish to run to time, please be ready to jump either side of your published time.

Coursewalks are available from 12 noon Saturday, or before the first competitor on Sunday at 8.30am. There will be a limited time between each of the classes should you wish to walk the course on the day.

DIRECTIONS TO EVENT

There will be YELLOW arrow signs to the showground from the following points;

BROCKHURST SCHOOL    RG18 9UL

BLADE BONE PUB            RG7 6PD

On arriving at the event please STOP and check that no vehicle is leaving the parking on the one way track.

On leaving the event please follow the RED arrows to avoid meeting oncoming vehicles.
